The document Report food system actions (D 1.2) aims to support the development of food policies and strategies that promote carbon sequestration (Climate), enhance access to healthy and nutritious foods (Nutrition and healthy diets), facilitate changes in food preparation, storage training, the handling of fresh produce and waste management so as to promote resource-use efficiency (Circularity) and foster innovative market solutions while empowering all citizens (Innovation and empowerment).

By using a food systems approach, the Report analyzes and identifies the contributions (actual and potential) of different kinds of innovative food practices to food system transformation.
