Food Trails partner city and world’s wine capital, Bordeaux, is excited to host, on 16-17 June 2022, the 16th edition of the European Organic Congress. The entire value chain of the organic movement will be represented at this event, organised by IFOAM Organics Europe together with INTERBIO Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
This year’s edition revolves around the theme “A more organic future: On the road to achieving the EU Green Deal“.
Two days of discussion and exchange led by International and French organic experts and representatives on topics related to organic food and farming in Europe:
- How EU & Member States policies can enable the ambitious and achievable targets of 25% organic land by 2030;
- Realising the Farm to Fork & Biodiversity strategies’ targets;
- Organic as part of the solution: Farming, purchasing & digitalising;
- Tools that can help organic grow.
For Bordeaux Metropole, as a financial partner of the European Organic Congress, the event represents an unique opportunity to showcase the Food Trails project on a European scale and question Organic as part of the solution in the local food policy.
