On May 21, 2024, the Food Trails consortium will convene for the Mid-Year 4 Partner Meeting – the last one! – in the beautiful Polish capital, Warsaw.
This annual partner meeting is always crucial, but this year it holds even greater significance as it marks the final months of the Food Trails project, which concludes on October 15, 2024. Meeting in person is key to collaborating on finalizing internal and public reports, as well as coordinate dissemination of results, knowledge, best practices, and experiences. In short, it’s about the project’s legacy.
The Partner Meeting’s agenda includes sessions dedicated to various work packages, with a particular focus on food policies and multilevel governance, and on how Food Trails pilot actions influenced local food policy development.
Another relevant focus will be on creating impact, exploring Food-2030 related co-benefits of Food Trails Pilot actions, and how to scale food policy actions.
Following the meeting, the consortium will remain in the capital to actively participate in the Eurocities Working Group Food meeting & MUFPP Regional Forum Europe titled “Innovation and Resilience for Urban Food Systems” (Warsaw, May 22-23, 2024).
On May 23, the event will feature the Food Trails Replication Workshop, where discussions on the Food Trails replication methodology and how to shape fruitful exchanges will take place with the over 100 event participants, including representatives from the 28 cascade cities that have participated in the Food Trails Replication Program in recent months.
