Food Trails at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2022 in Turin

On 22-23 September, Food Trails will participate in Slow Food’s flagship event, Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2022, in Turin, bringing the views of European cities on how to regenerate our planet through food.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, the largest international event dedicated to food politics, sustainable agriculture and the environment, returns to Turin on 22-26 September around the claim #RegenerAction. The event organised by Food Trail partner Slow Food, the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region, will take place outdoors at Parco Dora and offers free admission.

The theme of the 2022 edition of Terra Madre will be regenerationRadical renewal and actual agroecological transition can and must begin with food: by improving our agricultural practices, our production and distribution systems, our diets and consumption habits, from the largest cities to the smallest villages.

In a former industrial space, Parco Dora, the theme of regeneration will be approached from different perspectives and with an ecosystemic approach, through markets, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and tastings, to understand how we can regenerate our planet through food.

Food Trails will bring its significant perspective on European Urban Food Policies, focusing on cities’ power in facilitating the transition to a healthier and more sustainable food system.

Food Trails’ agenda for Terra Madre 2022 will include conferences, workshops and “Food Talks” developed in collaboration with the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) and the Food 2030 Project Family.

We look forward to meeting you at Parco Dora, Turin!
