On 21 june, the Food Trails’ Project Family will meet in Almere, city of Floriade Expo 2022, for the mid-year 2 Partner Meeting. The event will be hosted by the Municipality of Almere in Casa Casla (Weerwaterplein 3, 1324 EE Almere), not far from the expo area, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The mid-year 2 Partner Meeting is titled “Food Policy Workshop”, since the focus of the event will be two workshops that seek to answer this question: how to launch an effective urban food policy and track progress towards sustainable food systems?
The first workshop will be on monitoring the implementation of pilots and collecting data to evaluate impact (WP3 & WP4); a session organized by Wageningen Economic Research and Fondazione Politecnico Milano.
The second session will be an interactive workshop on Food Policy developments with the participation of all Food Trails partner cities and Crosscutting Managers and the lead of EAT Foundation, with the goal of understanding the state of Food Policy development in each city and the processes for arriving at a Food Policy.
Other specific sessions will take place on that occasion.
“Food Policy Workshop” is a closed-door, in-person meeting open to Food Trails partners, who in the following days (June 22-24) will also participate in The Table is Set, the event organized by Eurocities and MUFPP as part of Floriade expo 2022.FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailCondividi
